My name is Emily, and I am an associate behavioral health therapist. Currently, I am training to become a licensed clinical psychologist at the University of Alabama Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program and have practiced at a variety of sites such as UA's Psychology Clinic, UAB's Developmental Trauma and Traumatic Grief Clinic, residential rehabilitation facilities, and more. I earned my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, M.A. in Social Foundations of Health from Vanderbilt University, and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, biopsychosocial theory to craft personalized interventions. My areas of focus include substance use difficulties, trauma, chronic health conditions, and stress management. I also facilitate group therapy sessions in addition to individual therapy. In my free time, I enjoy attending concerts, gardening, and hanging out with my dogs, Hudson and Lyric.
