My name is Rashanda Lawrence, and I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (MS), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (GA), National Certified Counselor, and Board-Certified TeleMental Counselor.
With over 8 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings, including residential environments, community-based services, and collegiate counseling. I hold a B.S. in Sociology from Clayton State University and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Therapy from Walden University.
I incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities into my practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to support clients in achieving their therapeutic and personal goals.
I am deeply passionate about advocacy, equity, and mental health education, striving to raise awareness around emotional well-being and support individuals in better understanding and managing their mental health. I believe in the importance of holistic care and aim to integrate mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health in my work as a therapist.
My areas of focus include trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, minority mental health, individual advocacy, empowerment, self-esteem development, and stress management.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family and friends.
